Within just a few miles of Dana Point Harbor lies multiple reefs, kelp forests, and shoreline only accessible by boat. These trips are a great way to introduce you and your family to sportfishing on the Southern California coast. Trips as short as just three hours and up to seven.
Offshore fishing in Southern California hosts a mirage of pelagic characters. Dorado, tuna, yellowtail, and even marlin move into our waters as they warm mid summer to fall. Opportunity can range from just five miles to 50 miles off our coast. These trips are offered at a minimum of seven to maximum of twelve hours to accommodate for any group. A maximum of four anglers, but the Captain recommends three for a more comfortable experience.
Fishing at Catalina or San Clemente islands our main focus will be to find yellowtail. These hard fighting fish have great table fair and can be abundant at the islands. While on the hunt for yellowtail, fishing for other inshore species such as calico bass, bonito and barracuda will keep you busy.
