Great start to our day fishing rockfish in shallower than most are targeting them. This made it great for the kids and fun for the dads with every drop producing quality vermillions. Ended up with a limit (8) of reds and a few brown rockfish within just an hour of pushing off the dock. With a fish hold full of quality fish we switch our sights to bass. Expecting easy fishing with anchovy we were quickly humbled by a weird bite. The fish would come up in the chum boiling around the boat but were very weary of a hook bait. Our first spot only produced a few bass although we did get a great show of calico doing backflips on the free meal we provided. We hopped from spot to spot and finally found a group of fish willing to commit to our presentation. We fished the drift for about an hour and a ended the day with some great bass fishing happy kids and full bags of fish.
Great rockfishing continues and the coming month of June is beginning to fill up fast in the way of reservations. So if you’re looking to get out

for summer be sure to contact me or Dana wharf directly to make a reservation.
